I had not been to Staunton Harold in 27 years, since it was a hospice. Myself, brother and my own children went to look around. We decided to get a coffee and a cake but noticed how nice the food looked too so we had lunch there. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and the portions were huge. The food was beautiful. It was very busy so getting a table was hard and we had to come back after our walk (this wasn't an issue). There were tables also outside. It was clean and the staff were happy, friendly, helpful and polite. We were asked multiple times if there were any allergies etc which was nice. The service was quick which was good as the children were hungry. The milkshakes were tasty and got the approval of both children. My brother was impressed with his coffee. My tea for 1 served me with 3 cups in total. The jacket potato did not have melted cheese but once you mixed it in, it was a fabulous 2 cheese jacket which was very tasty and filling. The bacon and egg sandwich was colossal, it was thoroughly enjoyed. The egg and chorizo dish I had was lovely also and very filling. It was worth every penny. The puddings were delicious. We have decided we shall return and try the breakfast menu next time in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

One of my favourite lunch spots in the local area, mainly due to the amazing jacket potatoes!! The topping options are super inclusive for all dietary options (Vegan/veggie etc) and they don’t skimp on topping portion sizes :) The potatoes themselves are always huge and so fluffy - Went in today and they were in-front of us within 5 minutes of ordering, couldn’t recommend enough

Popped in here when we were at the artisan fare, the coffee was lovely, lots of deep flavours. The soups was well made and flavoursome although we did sit outside and it could have been alittle hotter. Cheese toasties was as expected. My salted beef focaccia bread was beautiful, soft and airy and warm too. Sandwich was 9, soup and toasties was 8.50 so the price was average. Nice little courtyard to sit in and watch the world go bye. Thanks

Great selection of Gluten Free food, cakes and Coffee. Such a nice surprise. Had never been here before but the service was fast despite being bank holiday. Cake and Coffee arrived immediately (had barely sat down) and shortly followed by the food which was absolutely delicious. Lovely outdoor area which was pram friendly and staff were very efficient and polite. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Lovely start to our weekend. Popped in for a breakfast and it was the best I’ve had in a long time. Booking needed on a Saturday morning though as can get busy. Great to see the cover over the outside seating area too. Can’t wait for a hot chocolate out there when it starts getting colder.

We went to the stables BBQ & Beats event and had the BEST time. Started with live singers. Followed by a DJ playing Ibiza classics. We had the BBQ bottomless brunch and the food was fantastic. Brill service. Delicious cakes. Lovely courtyard setting. A real pleasure to visit !

Weekend stay at the Deerpark Lodge on the estate (which was fab). Decided to call in for a coffee and cake. The vegan carrot cake was so good I went back the next day for takeout. That days offering was a biscoff cake...and it was DELICIOUS! The staff were also lovely
